The pace of life in Plymouth is slow, with the sea ten minutes away and soaring seagulls and pigeons visible when you look up. The ecology is great and perfect for studying.
The people here are very friendly, both residents and teachers, and I remember arriving in
Plymouth on my first day without having acquired anything. I saw a much needed pillow at the M&S supermarket. By that time the supermarket staff were ready to finish work and the lights were starting to turn off in the shop, but the cashier delayed her time to help me with the checkout.
Plymouth University is a great place to study. The language support and life support for international students is very good and there is a department for every kind of help you need.
The tutors give students maximum freedom to complete their projects and reach their potential. I feel at ease and happy living in Plymouth.
