It is a pleasure to receive very professional and timely guidance in English and academic writing at the University of Plymouth. The International Student Services Centre, the Student Services Centre and the English Language Centre organise regular lectures and tutorials tailored to your individual circumstances to ensure that every international student is kept up to date and learning what they want to know.

As an international student in China, I found it difficult to adapt to the differences in the way I write my dissertation in China and abroad at first. It was through the weekly academic English tutorials, where teachers answered questions and patiently corrected my problems, and carefully explained the differences between the domestic and international courses, that I gradually got to grips with the pace of my studies.

Also, Plymouth is a very friendly and safe city and even though I've only been here a short time, I don't feel anxious or worried about life at all. The people here have been very helpful and friendly, both in life and in making friends.
